Silverado Canyon is a special place in Southern California. While many of us live in rows of suburban houses, the people of Silverado have chosen to live in a narrow canyon in the Cleveland Forest.
They brave fires, wild animals, and mudflows. These dangers are a small price to pay for the privilege of quiet, solitude and a strong sense of community.
